K hypothetically speaking here, lets say i had idk $1000 to spend on my car. I have a 2 door 06 Honda Civic Ex. Im looking to increase the performance on it. Its brand new so i still gotta break in the engine i guess so im just looking for upgrades i could do to make it run better. Any Suggestions?

Edit: Ohh and why isnt my sig howing up? Ive tried the [img][/img] and the [IMG][/IMG] codes but they dont seem to work.??

[IMG][/IMG] <that is what you put your sig in, plus check your profile and make sure it is checked to show your sig at all times.

It all depends on your goals.

If you're talking strictly HP modifications, then get a nice I/H/E setup.

But if you're talking about general mods, I would say suspension/brakes/weight reduction come first.

honda run in the engines before they leave the factory, that's why they don't come with 'breaking-in' oil in them

Get a new set of shocks and springs. Then Brakes. Make your car safe to drive at higher speeds then make it fast enough to reach those speeds. I have seen too many kids ramp up the HP in their cars and not be able to handle the new power with their current brake/suspension setup.

if it were me? rear swaybar, lowering springs, maybe short shifter? (I haven't driven one yet)
maybe exhaust or intake

go for performance suspension and sway bars and have 0 body roll!!! that is what I would do.
