Well, I just found this.. Look really close at the pic. In between the IM runners, there seems to be a gap around the flange/gasket area. I'm thinking this is probably my vac leak..

For future reference... Contrary to popular belief, the intake manifold gaskets ARE NOT all the same for d-series motors [:@]

I'm hoppin in the shower, then hitting Napa to get the gasket that matches the motor, rather than the one that matches the friggin IM

I'll update in a bit. Thanks guys

Wasnt the IM gasket..

Went through to double check everything last night, and it seems as if my TPS has completely taken a ****. STarted the car without the TPS connected, and although the idle was high, there was no surge. Busted out the multimeter only to find that it was reading 5.01v whether the throttle was open or closed. Should be..
4.5 WOT
.5 Idle

Hopefulyl getting a tb off my buddy's parts car today in hopes it'll fix the issue

Turns out neither of the locals had the correct TB (or ANY tb for that matter) [:@]

Its getting its hood and front bumper put back on today, and I'm driving it. I dont care how annoying the idle is anymore..
