Default indicator

hi ,i have just bought a honda civic 1.5 r reg ,can anyone tell me if the indicator stick should turn itself off when i straighten back up as mine does not and it is driving me barmy. cheers davy

Are you saying that the turn signal lever isnt clicking off on its own after you make your turn and straighten up the wheel? If so then yes it should depress itself and turn itself off when you straighten the wheel after your turn. If this is the problem then you need to replace the turn signal. It comes out as one assembly with little effort and you can pick one up at a junk yard.
