Unhappy Installing an OBX manifold.. Kinda Stuck..

So my friends got a 90 CRX Si and he wanted more power so we bought some things like an intake, headers, ignition upgrades. He wanted more so I told him why not get a cam, intake manifold and throttle body for starters. He happily said ok, so I started looking (Im a nice friend I know) found everything on ebay. I was stuck between the OBX manifold and the BLOX. The obx was way cheaper and was all chrome so obviously my friend wanted it. So we finally got it but I was to buzy to install it so he did it and apparently it doesnt fit, its to long and hits the brake booster/reservoir, and the fuel rail does not fit, the skunk 2 manifolds require a 92-95 civic fuel rail so that might be the problem there... If I were to do it I would probably make it fit... but maybe there's another way? Now hes all pissed at me like its all my fault.. Nice guy eh? And now im doing all this for em.

Anyone else have this problem or install this before?

Looks pretty good, the other obx manifold are more work as you have to drill and tap everything.

Im going to say do the obvious thing....contact the seller and tell them it doesn't fit. It says in the description it should, so they are advertising incorrect info which is against ebay policies. File an Ebay complaint if they don't want to do anything. If its been too long, contact OBX.

For future reference, never buy OBX. I have never heard anyone say anything good about thier fitment or welds. I had the OBX Twin Loop muffler and it seemed like it was made well, but it was just a muffler.

Yeah I have never heard anything good about OBX. Ive had some things with no problems also, but heard some horror stories. I've seen some of their other manifold and they were not the greatest looking. Thought this would be different. Id rather try and fit it in somehow as seller says hes sold hundreds and hasn't had any problems...... Also it was 125 plus 30 shipping to Canada PLUS another $45.00 customs charge I bet the best the seller would do is probably refund my money which is 125 and I have to pay to ship it back...

I'm gonna keep talking to the seller but anybody know if its possible to install or have instructions? My friend doesn't seem like he wants to give his car up for a couple hours to me either..

i suggest trying to sell it and get something better, and now you've learned a lesson.

Yeah I put it up for sale on a local classifieds site last night, if it was my car I wouldnt have bought it as I wouldnt want to put it on in the first place as it really wouldnt do much with just basic mods on it, but he wouldnt stop bugging me about it, looks cool tho. Like a chrome alien weapon.. I really want to get it in though, im very persistent.. now if only he would let me tinker with his car!!!!
