Installing intake manifold ques

i just purchased a skunk2 prointake manifold for my b18c1-b16head can i just bolt it on or do i need to do other procedures to get it runnnning?

Should just bolt right up. Make sure you use a new gasket and clean the old one off really well.

Mine needed modification, had to drill out one of the sensor hole's as it was threaded and shouldnt of been, I also had to extend a sensor wire, use a longer hose for one of the vacuum line's, and bend the throttle adjustment mount thingy to make it fit. Have fun now!

damn i couldnt get to the bolts on the bottom of the intake mani and **** i forgot about the coolant any now i gotta clean ****, thanks for the advice guys, i ll try again tommorow

you forgot about the coolent? wow i bet that was quiet a little mess... easier if you get the bottom bolts from the underside like if you are under the car unless you have all kinds of wiggling extensions then its a piece of cake

Heed this warning carefully. I just did a Skunk2 install on my car and I forgot to scrape **ALL** the old gasket material off. The car immediately revved to 5k when started and burned coolant because it was leaking into my #1 cylinder. I used a chisel and a sanding block from ACE hardware. Just make sure to cover your ports properly because of the dust/particle matter!
