Default Installing Sirius?

If anyone on here has Sirius, where is the best spot fot the FM antenna? I don't really want to buy a new stereo that's satellite ready yet but, that's my next step if I can't get rid of the static. BTW I have a '01 Civic EX coupe

Yeah, I'll probably just buy a new stereo that's satellite ready or one with an aux input.

aux input on the front of the head unit is your best friend

Aux input on the BACK of the deck is your best friend. No ugly cables plugged into the front of your deck and running down the dash.

i had mine routed right by the antena. worked great BUT with my sirius sportster REPLAY i had allowed you to choise which FM band you wanted OUTPUT ON... so it worked great!!!!! just find a UNUSED station and set it.
mine never had static.... but then i got tired of having that stand alone thing being right in my line of sight on the windshield so then i bought a addon unit for my sweet alpine headunit... only thing i dont like about the hardwired unit is i dont have that REPLAY feature anymore and didnt have the FAVORITE song feature
