Default Intermittent does not work

I have a '92 Si hatch and the wipers work great except for the intermittent part. Is this common and what is the fix?

Check the switch and also the relay in the integrated control unit.

Default intermittent wipers and integrated control unit, don't replace, resolder,

On my 92 EXV the ICU controls the light bulb monitor circuits, the seatbelt reminder and the intermittent wiper function.

My wipers lost their intermittent function.

Repair:

Remove ICU and remove circuit board from the plastic box, touch up the solder on the circuit board; the relay connections, the harness connections, and the connections where the ICU plugs into the fuse panel. I also touched up the solder on the integrated circuit on the board, be carefull not to overheat that one. Same old solder problem as per the main relay. Tiny radial cracks in the solder only visible, to me anyway, with magnification. Replace these parts if you must, but my score is 100% in resoldering about ten honda circuit boards and relays.
