Iridium NGK spark plugs

Iridium NGK spark plugs
Hi,
So my B18C ITR motor has Iridium NGK spark plugs in it, from its previous owner, which I decided to keep. They look to be in good shape. Question is should I gap them to factory specs?
I noticed the current gap on them is wayyyy under the manual's specs. I am inclined to gap them to factory specs, although due to he poor conductivity characteristics of iridium I have doubts. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks

yo
correct me if im wrong but i do not think you are supposed to gap iridiums, you would have to do it very carfuly the little tip will bend, also i was looking at my boss's car he has an 06 accord, and there is no factory gap setting under the hood, i dont know if they just dont put it there anymore but when we get iridiums to use for a honda tuneup we dont gap them, they are pre gapped and the only way to gap would to like put the arch in a vice and pull, i would use factory plugs for that car, but that's just my opinion wait until somebody else looks

oh yea and some cars NEED those plugs, if yours doesnt they are about what 10$ a piece? well u could change youre spark plugs 4 times before you spend that much money, and have NEW spark plugs the whole time....and run correctly

correction, if you gap iridiums it will ruin the iridium (says a tech at the honda dealer i had to go there today so i asked) and your are not supposed to gap them at all, he said running regulars are far better
though id post it don't yell at me im just the middle man!

lol nah I encouraged input for other users, and I thank you for it. Ya I was reading about iridium, and no this motor does not need them. The manual calls for:
818C5 engine:
NGK PFR6G-I1 (Platinum)
DENSO PK2OPR-111
The only positive thing I saw about Iridium was the harness of the electrode. Other then that the metal is a very poor conductor. I think I will get a new set of plugs.
Thanks for taking the time to asking the dealer!
