Ok as most of you know the car i got, has a jdm b18c. The car runs pretty good but i found out the computer that is in the car is either a p04 or p06 that has been modified to work. Vtec kicks in at around 5800 and it revs to 8k or so. From everything ive read, the computer in the car is a non vtec computer. Would it being modded to work be just as good as me getting a jdm p72? If i wont see any gains or driving improvements then i will just leave it alone but if the p72 will help out then i would like to know. I know a guy that has a jdm p72 for sale and i think he told me the vtec kicks in around 4700. Im just wondering which ecu would be better. Thanks in advance
