Just cleaned out the engine bay... now the ABS light is on ?
Hi All
I just spent the day degreasing and cleaning the engine bay of my civic. I left it in the sun to dry out and all was well. I went for a 10 min drive and the ABS light came on and stayed on the whole trip.
The only problem I saw when I was cleaning was that the wiring (I think its a grounding wire) from the red battery terminal to a smallish fuse box has melted off due to battery acid. I'm going to grab a new battery terminal thingo tomorrow to fix that issue. At the moment, it's just resting on the terminal, so probably not actualy hitting it all the time.
Do you folks think thats what it is? I though ABS was to do with braking?

ORIGINAL: Faithbleed
So:
Sliding = Bad (ABS Fail)
Stoping Quickly = Good (ABS OK)
That the idea?

Please use common sense when seeing if your ABS is working... We don't want HCF responsible for you flipping your car and killing yourself because we told you to go slam on your brakes.
