I wasn't quite sure where this thread should reside so I put it in general tech...

I found a guy selling his complete K20z1 swap out of his EG Civic with all the parts for the conversion into an EG for $5500.

My plan is to swap the K into my EJ8, and my question is how much can I use from his EG swap in my EJ?

Here's his list of parts:
K20z1 Motor + Trans
PS conversion kit
All fuel lines, fuel rail, FPR
DC sports header
Custom Axels - Will his EG axles work in my EJ?
RBC 07 Si throttle body
Shift cables, box, and Karcepts adapter
Hybrid Racing EG conversion harness - the guy said I need a different harness for my EJ
Stock RSX type S engine harness
Stock Coils
JDM ITR ECU w/o Immobilizer
ITR Cams
Karcepts intake
Slim radiator fan
07 Civic Si LSD
Hasport Billet EG mounts
Hybrid Racing Clutch Line

I've been working with Hybrid Racing to get the parts I need together. From his list he said I would need two things, a new conversion harness and new mounts. But looking at my list from Hybrid Racing they said I could use EG Billet mounts. For sure I need an EG subframe. Hondata would be nice, since its base map is JDM spec.

So knowing all this what else will I need to complete the swap in my EJ8. $5500 seems like a good deal for all the parts he has.

the axles won't fit you can custom them to fit ... just put the your outer cv axle part on the outer cv axles from the kswap and the conversion harness... since a eg is obd1 and your ej is obd2 i believe you will also need the driver side motor mount the motor mounts on a eg are different than a ej if i think of something else i will let ya know

 

Thanks. Looks like the guy was right about the mounts. I might as well go with the DC2 subframe if I'm going to need new axles and mounts
