aloha, I'm new to this and excited to be here!! my question is..is there an air intake set up for a 2000 civic lx? my confusion is whether or not my vehicle model is fuel injected or carb? i ordered a short ram system yesterday but dont know if its right for my car..advise please!!! thanks

You are fuel injected. An intake is basically just a pipe with a filter on it. Pretty much universal as far as installation. Removing your OEM system will be the hardest part.

If you have a large plastic box behind / on top of the engine with the air filter in it, that is the stock LX setup. The EX is different, the air flows horizontally and a different intake pipe is used. Thus the aftermarket sellers have two kinds.
