ive got a 99 civic dx, the other day when it was raining I had to travel through a puddle, and ever since then i keep on blowing the #15 fuse[:@]it controls the speedometer, the exciter wire for the altenator, evap system, even with all those items unplugged its still tripping the circuit breaker( i installed one to help diagnose the problem) if anyone has any ideas or related problems please get back to me

You have a wire(s) on this circuit that is improperly grounding out, probably due to a wet connector (or less likely rubbing off of some part of the wire insulation). Careful inspection of each connector (and wires) on this circuit should reveal the source of your problem (see picture). I guess that one of these connectors is wet. You may need to rinse suspect connectors with distilled water and dry them by blowing with compressed air.

well would you happen to know of a link were i can get a good layout of wiring diagrams and component locations. the Haynes book i got is very vague
