Default Keyless entry broken, aftermarket radio works, factory not on

Some time ago my keyless entry stopped working and i never really investigated it. the remotes light up and everything, but i noticed the old factory radio behind the dash is no longer turned on. i used to be able to see it thru the cracks in the temperature control.

is there a certain fuse that controls the factory radio? i pulled the radio fuse on the interior and my aftermarket still turned on and a new fuse did not turn on the factory radio.

so i wanted to know could it be a certain fuse under the dash, or if i need to just hit a power button or if its something more serious.

thanks!

In a 1996 to 1998, the stock keyless receiver is inside the factory radio. The radio doesn't need to actually be turned on, just powered up through 3 wires in the big plug and connected to the alarm/lock controller via the smaller plug. It depends on how the installer wired the power which fuses may be involved. The radio fuse under the dash is only for when the key is on. Obviously need not be powered up to make keyless work. Constant power whether the key is on or off comes from a fuse under the hood.
