Default KNOCK SENSOR o no

k i have a civic 00 ex...enginge light came on, reads knock sensor fault. i hear no ping or rattle can when u rev it so i might just need new sensor right. will that bad sensor also cause my engine to rev back and forth from 2k-3k very fast.

kknock sensor turnd out to be good...i reset the enginge light but now i have a new one...it comes and goes, multiple misfire. once my car warms up it goes into a routine in wich it rev good for 3 secs then clime to 2k , sputter then start that all over...sounds like a vac leak but y do i get misfire codes...light flashes on, but then next time i start up car it is gone

Start with the basics: Check the plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor.

k the only thing i found was the spring coming outta th coil is......it looks stretchd, pulled. gonna swap that along with spark plugs
