ive been told that on the latest civic with the gear shift on the dashboard the gear linkage is not solid and it uses cable linkages, is that true?

yes that is true. its a cable.

 

and does anyone here with the latest shape civic when driving in third gear only, get vibrations that seem to come off the gearbox 3rd gear gog if they touch the stick? and if you push the stick forward it goes away and then let it go and it falls back into its normal 3rd gear position and you can feel it again

told it was ok by the dealer, just want to confirm with you guys with the new civic
