Default LCA Help

OK just got done replacing the front and rear struts. The right side rearis higher than the left side for some reason. Here is a pic of what im talking about. The top of the drivers side LCA is almost staright level. The passenger side is sloped way down. Any info on this?

Weird, do you have a 50lb bag of sand on the left side of your trunk. lol?

So, you say your replaced the strut, did you? Or did you replace the shock?

Strut = Shock + Spring
Shock = Shock
Spring = Spring

So, if you only replaced the shock, then it's most likely that your spring is old and saggy.

ORRRRRR, have you driven the car since you replaced the parts? After you let a car down, you have to let the suspension settle. Just take a lap around the block and check it out again.

Are the shocks brand new? Maybe they one them are mislabeled. If they don't settle down, you may want to swap the shocks to see if the problems moves.

first, make sure the springs are both seated into the little indention on the bottom of the shock body. second, a strut does not equal a shock/spring package. a strut is a different (cheaper) design where the strut body acts as the upper control arm. your honda is much more capable because of it's double wishbone suspension. finally losen all the bolts that hold the suspension together (that you removed to replace the shocks) and do the final tightening ONLY when the vehicle is back at ride hight. bushings will bind if you tighten them when the wheels off the ground.

I put the stock springs back onto the car. I bought new shocks front and rear. Yes i did leave the bolts snug and did the final tightening after it was on the ground.They are seated in the seats good.As for checking the height of each spring i would have to pull everything back off. And my pulling to the right was not my bent passenger side LCA. Im still clueless

Well, I think on of your springs isn't seated properly. Is it possible for you to take any other pictures, like where the springs meet the body. I'm sad to say it, but if you can't figure it out, you're going to have to remove them and inspect them.

well if the springs are settled in the top cup and lower cut they could hold it up alittle......its like 1/4inch ontop and another 1/4inch on the bottom....

it can be tuff to get the springs in the shocks perfectly but just takes time....
