lights out!
well.. new motor is in. Fresh new motor. over heating issues taken care of. Ok. here is whats going on. im not going to release pictures yet. i have all the pictures of the cars project thus far and will post the entire project when im done.
My cluster, headlights and tail lights are out. what could be the possible causes. My brights work, my break and reverse lights all work just fine. .. but tail lights, head lights and cluster lights are all out. which makes it difficult to watch my speed and RPM, fuel and temp without these lights...
what might be causing this.

It's all on the same circuit, so it is strange that the brights work. Can you twist the switch to on and click it and have the brights stay on, or do they only come on momentarily when you pull the lever back to flash them? That's all controlled thru the column switch. If the flash works but the steady on doesn't, probably the switch is bad.
The way it works is that the power comes from a 40A fuse in the underhood box to the column light switch, then the 3 outputs from that switch (bright, dim, and tail lights) go to seperate fuses in the under dash fuse box, then on to the respective bulbs. The cluster lights are powered off of the tail light circuit.
