Default Looking at buying a used civic

I was looking into buying a used civic coupe, 5spd as my starter car. Just wondering what years i should think about or avoid. I have heard that OBD1 on the 1992-1995 civics will give me less problems, but will OBD2 on a newer civic be more reliable and last longer?

I'd say go with a 5G (92-95). They have the looks, the reliability, and the ease of expansion later on...
