Default Buying 02-04 used Civic

Hi all, I'm a new member and are looking for a good used Civic between 02-04. Since I know only little about the current or recent Civic's spec, could anyone please give me some advise about what to watch out or look for? Thank you all.

By the way my first car is a 1976 Civic CVCC which I bought it back in 1987 when I first got my licence, fun car for newbie. I just wished that I had some pics of that car to post.

Idealy coupe, 5 speed with reasonable milage.

Also what year of civics feature the V-TEC engine? Ane which model is MOD friendly?

I currently drive a NX 2000 coupe and I doubt it would last much longer, I'd better start looking now before it dies on me !

The EX features a SOHC VTEC which comes in a coupe, and the Si features a DOHC VTEC but only comes in a hatchback (which Honda stopped manufacturing).

You wanted a 2002-2004 and they come in those years and models. Civics are known to be on top of the reliability chart. They're great on gas, reliable, look good, easy to modify or customize, and have great little engines in them.
