Default Looking into an engine swap.

I drive a 1993 Si, 1.6L sohc Non-VTEC 5-speed. I'm looking at putting a b18a1 from the Integra GS-R in, an I'm wondering what I'll all need to complete this. A friend told me I'd probably need a new ECU and tranny, just looking to get a second opinion. Thanks for your time.

Man, you gotta do a ton more research. First a gsr has a b18c, which is 180hp. A ls has a b18a/b which is 130/140 hp. You need alot more than ecu and tranny, you need axels front brakes, motor mounts, wiring harness custom shift linkage. and so much more.

Well, i don't have that kinda cash to spend, so i'm looking at just putting the same engine as what I have in, but VTEC, i'm not sure which one that is... any ideas what I would need to do that?

Sounds fairly reasonable. Do they require too much work to put in? or is it fairly difficult?
