So I've had my 98 Civic DX Coupe for a while and it's always had this problem where if I hit a hard enough bump or if I shift hard the windshield wipers turn on. I'm somewhat narrowed it down to what seems to be the steering column being loose as when I do a hard shift it drops a lot, thus flicking the windshield wiper controls down and turning them on. Has anyone ever had this problem before? And if anyone has, how do you tighten up the steering column?
