Default lost owner's manual

I recently purchased a '98 cx hatchback. There was no owner's manual with the car. I was hoping someone with an owner's manual for this vehicle would please post info here about shifting. How fast can I go in each gear? What speeds can I downshift at in each gear?

i have no clue, and i dont belive that your owners manual will tell you anway, it only tells you the gear ration. but any way, if you want a manual...www.autopartswarehouse.com would be a good place to start looking. do you have a tach? just shift at the begining of red line, that will give you your max speed per gear.

I do not have a tach. This is a '98 civic cx, it has no such fancy options. Does anyone have an owner's manual for this model? Surely it contains shifting recommendations. Somebody please post this info for me.
