Default Low End Power

Hello, this is my first post! I have a 1997 Civic EX Sedan and lately I've noticed a big decrease in low end power. It's to the point where I have to shift down to 3rd or even 2nd gear (I have an AUTO) to go up slight declines. There are no engine mods what-so-ever to it right now. Would a CAI help? I have a feeling it may be gaskets or something like that.

It has 177k on it and just normal maintenance. I guess I should just take it into a shop but I just wanted to see if anyone knew what might cause low end power loss. Thanks!
