Default Lube points on chasis?

Can someone explain where I should lube with a grease gun on my chasis? I've never done this before, but I know when I used to pay for oil changes, they would do it, and since I've been doing oil changes myself lately, I have no clue what to do. If you have pics, that would be even better.

Does it matter what type of grease I apply?

Most modern cars have sealed suspension joints. You don't need to grease anything under the car, there are no grease fittings.
