Default Manual Transmission Shifting Problems

Hi all,

I have a 98 honda civic ex and when I shift into third gear, I hear a grinding noise. The noise usually occurs when I shift above 2500 rpm. It initially started only when I downshifted to third...now it happens anytime I shift into the third gear. There is no grinding noise when I shift into any of the other gears. My car has 98,000 miles and I just replaced the transmission oil a month ago.

I hope my transmission is not going. Do you guys have any suggestions what could be causing this?

Thanks

Double clutch and rev match when shifting into third, and as Ron said, get shopping.
