massove electronic failure

Default massove electronic failure

a 1988 honda civic dx had its battery grounded while driving and it smoked the dash unit and main fuse relay only check engine light with new dash from an si also when cranking cuz it does crank the bright light and turn singals go on. it has spark . replaces the main fuse relay with another one i had. still the car will not start and the lights will not go on.

ok i was driving my car and all of a sudden it back fired i look down and my dash was smoking the car stalled and i pulled over. i open the hood see that the battery grounded. then i hear a clicking and notice its the main fuse realy doing it so i replace that and nothign happens. then i put in the 90 si dash cluster that i had and the check engine light coem on adn so does the blinkers and bright light thign comneon in the dash. the car will crank its gettign gas, and gettign spark whats my problem

first, check all of your fuses and relays. and that includes the big screw-down fuses under the hood.

DO you mean the power wire of the battery was grounded. cause all batteries are grounded

i think he means the battery bounced or something and grounded the positive terminal.
