2000 Civic LX

CEL on when I bought the car (Code P0141 - Bank 1 Sensor 2). Long story short, I got under the car and found the secondary O2 sensor with four wires coming out of it but nowhere to connect them to.

Does anybody know where I should be looking for the wiring/connector?

I did notice a hole that goes up through the floorboard so I tore appart the center console and looked everywhere up under the dash but couldn't find anything. I have a Haynes manual but it wasn't any help.

Bottom line, I need the car to pass smog. I would appreciate any insight or suggestings.

The wires come from under the dash on the floorboard on the passenger side.

Would the O2 simulator I've been reading about work without the old wiring harness? Could it be spliced into wires near the ECU?

[i]Surfing around on this site, I found that this car has had an engine & ECU swap. It looks like the engine & ECU are from a 96-2000 EX (engine=D16Y8 & ECU=P2P). It still does not explain why the wiring for the secondary O2 sensor is missing.[/i]
