moonroof blues

Problem, moonroof is stuck..thankfully, stuck closed and not open during monsoon season, but, stuck still the same, makes ugly noises when I try to open it. any ideas?

either the motor/gears have gone so it cant get enough torque together to open it. or something with the track has it stuck to that the motor cant open it. have someone push the open button and another person try to push it back. if it goes back then its the motor. if not then make sure something hasnt wedged itself in the track.

not the motor, not the cable, seems jammed as oposed to motor troubles, it still tries to open, seems jammed on the driverside, the other side seems freed up..

you can take it apart by dropping the headliner. lots of work but its exactly what a mechanic would do. defintally a do it yourself project but plan a few hours and a friends help if you wanna do it.
