ive resently installed a header and ive noticed that my motor shakes and before it would never shake at idle could this be my spark plugs? or something?

im thinking that either ur car is idling too low or that one of ur engine mount was already broken/crack and when u change the headers it allowed more air to flow out of the engine which usually bring the idling a little lower which cause the engine to shake.

same thing happend to me only thing was my car had idling problems and when i intalled my headers and intake the idling issue was resolved.

oh ok ya my motor mounts are fine and when i first got the car it threw a CEL and it was the idle control but my mechanic checked it out and said it didnt effect my car what so ever and it idled perfectly but ya i was thinking it was the header causing it to shake a lil bit but i wasnt sure thanks for the reply tho

well at least u know how much of a difference aftermarket headers makes. not only does it give u a few extra hp it also makes ur car idle better. and the better the idling the more gas u save
