Default msd coil

i have a 96 honda civic ex with a d16y8 motor. i was thinking of getting a msd coil wires plugs and distributor cap kit. im looking to get a little bit of hp. would getting a coil gain any hp? what are the pros for it and what are the cons for it?

do you need the msd igntion 6AL? or can you get any others?

You gain nothing. The stock ignition is actually plenty powerful for any N/A setup. Either the engine fires or it does not.

i have a msd ignition #6200. do i need a tech adapter or a PN 8910? i think its for the fuel injection or something.
