Default Is my clutch dying?

Hello,

I've noticed that when I slowly engage my clutch at low RPM and low load, I hear a fairly loud warble sound that only occurs when my clutch is in the process of engaging. Is this a sign of a failing clutch? If so, approximately how many months do I have left in it?

Also, I haven't flushed the tranny fluid in quite a long time. Is it possible that this is contributing?

Thanks to anyone/everyone for any help or insight you can provide.

The clutch throw out bearing is likely failing.

you are talking about when you are releasing the clutch pedal to its resting position, right?

Is there a more formal term for the clutch throw out bearing? I don't see this term in the Service Manual.

Thanks,
Dan
