Trying to find a very specific part. The guy at the honda dealership said its called an Idle sensor, but I can't find it anywhere on the net. It's attached to the Throttle body but that's about all i know.

Can someone tell me what this part is exactly and where I might find it? driving me nuts and my car is running less smooth !

You have circled the plug for the throttle position sensor, commonly called the "TPS". The sensor itself is the black part secured to the back of the throttle body with breakaway screws.

There's no such thing as the "idle sensor". It appears you have an automatic EX, where there is the idle air control valve on the bottom of the throttle body. If the only problem is inconsistent idling, it should be removed and cleaned. Cleaning usually gets it working again, replacement is seldom needed.

 

The TPS sensor (black part) is slightly cracked where the plug goes in. The plug also looks worn and has a crack in it. Would this cause any idling problems?

If u think I should replace the plug for the TPS, where might I buy those plugs? (it has been very hard to find them so far. TPS sensor I found no problem).

Are u referring to cleaning the TPS sensor, the plug, or the idle control valve ?

 

if the TPS plug is cracked, you will have to source one from a junk yard. you can de-pin the plug, and re-pin a good plug onto it. there are little plastic tabs that hold the pins in place.

the TPS plug can be from basically any honda. just go cut one off at an autowrecker.
