Default need help deciding what to do

My sister in law has a 95 coupe and she wants to trade me for my 96 eclipse. The only thing is that the civic is an automatic. I am leaning toward it because I have been wanting a coupe like this but I dont know if it is worth swapping in a standard. Some of my friendssay its worth it just to get the coupe but then some others say that the tranny swap takes to much time and money and its not worth it. I was just wondering what your guys opinion was? Please let me know.

i just did this swap... if you have access to a garage and an engine hoist... it will be no problem... its not hard at all, just make sure you have all the parts before you start. do you know what engine is in it? d16z6, d15b7? and i would say if you are going to do it, make sure you get the B000 s40, si tranny... better gearing so its quicker... the swap shouldnt cost more than 500... i have the custom mount if you need it... 100 shipped, its brand new in the wrapping... for almost everything else you can go to a junk yard and get...
