Default Need help replacing directional bulbs

Is it necessary to remove the splash guard in the front wheel well to get to the directional/parking light bulbs? This is on an '04 LX. It seems a bit involved but I don't see other access. If there is some alternative access please lemeno.

TIA for pointers.

Looks like my own advice was correct. There is a plastic locking pin at the top of the plastic wheel well guard slightly toward the front of the car. Pop that out with a screwdriver and the plastic guard can be folded out of the way enabling hand access to the directional bulb housing.

As it turns out the bulb was fine but the bulb socket/locking ring was bad (I swapped it to the other side and the malfunctioning flasher occured over there instead); a $12 shade-tree repair instead of $2.
