hi everyone........ i have a question about some engine specs.right now i have a d16z6 in my car. i like the sohc it has decient power but not so much to get me into a lot of trouble so i would like to stay with that platform.so with that being said i have the original engine from the car in my garage just sitting there gathering dust it is a d15. if i do a mini me which is putting the d16z6 head on that block right? will it give me just about the same power as a d16z6?? and when you do the swap do you also have to change the distributor to a vtec one,or do you just put the head on and call it a day? thanks for the help

 

you have the z6 sohc vtec in car now right? you have a jdm d15 in garage? not a d15b7 or anything?? just d15?

 

D15 is a 1.5L engine right?i think ur power will be go down if u change it.
