Default need window help

ok my passenger side window is really starting to **** me off. it doesnt work period, already changed the motor. i have power going to the motor, but when you hit the switch nothing happens. when i jumper the battery straight to the motor the window works fine. but as soons i as i plug the switch back in, it doesnt work. at first i thought it was the switch, but i get power to the motor from the switch, so i dont think its the switch. i havent tested the drivers side master switch yet. but i want to know what else might be the problem. i feel i have a good ground for the motor so i dont think its a grounding issue. is there a relay somewhere for the passenger window? oh and the drivers window works fine. a lil on the slow side. but it still works. and its not terribly slow either. please someone give me a hand with this before i go caveman on the car and beat the crap out of it. lol

i think i fixed it. in a weird way. lol... after going through my drivers side door switch and trying to jumper some of the contacts, i eventually blew a fuse. after i blew that fuse i just pulled another 20 amp fuse off the fuse block and put it in the spot of the blown fuse. which got the driver window to workagain. but then i had no voltage on the passenger side window. after running to the parts store and replacing the fuses with new ones i had voltage back to the passenger window. i then made sure i had a good ground. i took 2 of the bolts off that hold the window motor in place. and i sanded down that area of the door panel to bare metal, and then put the bolts back on.plugged the switch back in. pushed the button to lower the window, and i could hear the motor wanting to turn over. so i hit the button on the driver side and guess what, the passenger widow went down. then it wentup with the drivers switch. tryed again with the passenger still nothing. roled the window downwith the drivers and it went down again. then i triedusing the pass. switch to raise the window up. it worked. so once again the volt meter came out and turns out my switchisnt suppling all the power to lower the window. only 7 volts in the down position. but i have a full 12 volts in the up position.

now booste92 try makingsure you have a good ground. check your fuses. and check to make sure you have good switches. if you have anymore questions, just ask ill be more than happy to help ya.

...having the same problem on a '99 Si...The passenger window got REALLY slow. So I just replaced the passenger motor- needless to say that didn't fix the problem. The guys at the local shop said I had a ground problem in the master switch. He was only getting 3 volts instead of 12. So I won a new master switch off ebay, which should be here in a couple days. HOPEFULLY, that'll fix my problem.
