RE: new clutch install

if you can do most of your own work youll be fine. its a lot of stuff, but just take your time and do it right. get a Haynes manual and follow it. you will need a torque wrench, and you should take the flywheel off to get it it resurfaced. you have to take it off anyways to replace the pilot bearing, and it will start having problems down the road if you dont get it resurfaced.

RE: new clutch install

Taking off the ball joints is the hardest part, I started to do mine but didn't have the necessary tools and didn't want to screw anything up. Then a buddy of mine hooked me up with a mechanic friend of his that replaced my clutch and flywheel for $250.00!! Normally this would cost you $500-$700 in labor alone. (I supplied him the clutch and flywheel) He's in the LA area if anyone needs there's replaced, I'm sure I could hook you up with him. For $250.00 you can't go wrong, and if you just want stock replacements you can buy through him and he'll warantee it.
