Default New to everything

Hey guys,

So I'm pretty much a noob in the car aspects but I'm learning little by little. I don't know much about Chassis codes so I could use some help there. I will be getting a 2002 Civic LX Sedan (2door) this summer (late April).

I am very interested in modding the car which is why I want to buy the car and out of all the cars out there, the civic seems most mod-able.

From a body kit to suspension to a turbo kit, I'd like some help deciding what should go in it.

The car costs around $9,000 and I would like to stay in the $5,000 range for modding it. (Can go higher if I need to)

So rack em up, any ideas?

EG or EK civic
+
Lip Kit not body kit
+
Nice coil over setup (k-sport and ur ballin)
+
Good turbo setup
+
build up your internals

dont get a body kit because half of them look like crap and when you lower your car, their just going to break anyhow.. just get a nice lip, lower it, get good internals for your motor, do some basic i/h/e mods, then boost it.

thats just my $0.02

side note the 2001-05? i believe it is are the most unmoddable civics out there. you'd be better off getting either 5th or 6th gen civic or even 8th. and BOOOST

Found this car, It's by a private seller though so I don't know if I can trust it or not. Looks great all the same, and for 6,000 it makes me su****ious. Let me know what you think about it.

Thanks for the input all the same, I'll prob. rethink the body kit and just go with a lip kit.

Turbo and suspension = $$$$$ lol but I'll manage. Which would you get first? I'll prob. buy them at separate times because of the cost.
