Hey guys, Im new to this forum and honda cars in general.
I just bought a 1997 Civic DX 2 door coup 188xxxkms to use as a enduro race car. It has an auto tranny. Was wondering on a couple questions.

Will I make more HP and torque with the exhaust cut off at the end of the headers compared to running stock exhaust with a performance muffler?

What kinds of performance mods can I do to my ride to give me an edge without modifying the vehicle so as im not cheating. Rules for the race are no performance modification? But are there any cheap honda how to's that can free up some power without actually cheating?
