Just about to get my 98 EX (automatic trans) inspected soon and realized while doing a general check that neither of the reverse lights function.

I pulled one of the bulbs and it looks perfect (filament not broken or compromised, glass clear).

The PRD32 indicator on the dash works great so the car knows its in reverse...meaning there must be a signal coming from the shifter itself.

Any ideas where I would start troubleshooting this? Serached and found nothing at all...

I put my civic ex 98 on reverse but the lights don't work. I check the light bulbs and seem to be fine
