How hard is it to install an o2 sensor on 93 civic 1.5

Depends mostly on how hard it is to remove the old one because they can be rusted in place. The new one just screws in and plug in the wire. The sensor is located on the exhaust manifold on the front of the engine, just below the heat shield.

even on my 99 the o2 sensor came right out of the OEM manifold. It was a little rusted, but using an open ended wrench it came right out. Dont use any lubrication, asit might damage the sensor itself. So unclip the harness, unscrew the sensor and you should be good. I even live in a place with harsh winters where they salt the roads and it came right out.

A '95 is definitely 4 wire. I think all the gen 5's are.

Looks like i need to take the maifold cover off to get to the o2 sensor.
Can i just leave the cover off or should it be put back on?
