Default odd noise?

My cars been making this noise that I've been neglecting to pay attention to for awhile. It only does it if it's been sitting for awhile and I start it up. I only hear it when I first start driving(after I let it warm up) and especially when I make turns, the sharper the turn the more noise. The noise is like a metal gurgling sound, a hole inan exhaust type of sound, not a deep sound though. But after I drive it for like 15 min it goes away. I don't hear it again untill It sits for awhile.I just got a new magnaflow catback exhaust put on a few months ago.

The only thing I can think of is a small hole in the converter or something. My car has 112,000 miles on it and the same cat-converter, and exhaust manifold (for now).

Make sure all your exhaust connections are bolted on tight. You may just have a loose bolt somewhere cause the seal to weaken

I was just under it changing my oil and everything seemed fine. The mani is pretty rusted and the bolts look like they're a part of the manifold now. I don't know how I'm going to be able to get it off once I get my header. I'm thinking once I swap out my manifold maybe the noise will go away.

maybe the cat converter is broken and the insides are vibrating around until the cat reaches it's optimal operating temperature.

thats along the lines of what I was thinking, and the smoke from the seafoam I used pushed it just enough.

kind of want to get a high flow cat anyways.....magnaflow one to compliment the exhaust. Maybe I'll get one along with a header (thinking megan raceing). Anyone know if the 02 sensor will have to be extended for it?

your ex has the cat seperately from your exhaust mani, on the dx and other low models, the cat is made into the manifold, so you're in luck, you shouldn't have to extend any wires for your plans
