Oh S*&T (Throttle body)
Was testing IACV flow and well I had a piece of sponge blocking the port. I didn't actually SEE but I'm pretty sure it got sucked down in the throttle body when I rev'd the car. How serious of a problem is that?
Haha, now there's a thread you don't see everyday.
Well, hopefully it got stuck in your intake manifold. Pull it off and have a look see. I'm really not sure what would happen if it actually got into your head. How big of a piece of sponge are you talking about?

It's not that big i'd say about half the size of the iacv's connector. I just test drived the car for a few hrs and everything seems fine. Surprisingly RonJ the overheating I mentioned in the other thread has stopped, idle went down considerably also. Duno how to take off the intake manifold. Can I just try and remove the entire throttle body and see from there? Shouldn't have went too far right?
and you're not sure it even got in there? there's a lot of places in the engine bay it could have fallen and just sat there, and if that happened it would have fell out of the engine bay by now so the only way to find out if it's in the intake is to look
I'm pretty sure it didn't get sucked into the head yet, I can hear it in the throttle body when I start the car. I looked down in there but then again it's already night time and even with a flash light my vision sorta sucks so I'll wait till in the morning to check that out properly.
How to i check in the intake? Is that hard to remove? Any instructions / diagrams? DK much about removing that type of stuff just minor stuff I learned so far.
