oil change
have you tried it the other way? I spent a good few hours trying to undo the bolt that goes in the middle of the drum brake on a escort i had once, annoyed me sooo much that i took it to a garage to ask them to do it with their impact wrench, with no luck.
Then i tried turning it the other way, on the right side of the car those bolts were a left handed thread.
Man i felt daft

to add to tire changes, there is a **** load more than that can happen. my dad took my sis' vw bug to walmart for 4 new tires and balancing. he dropped it off, came back, paid, got the keys, walked outside, inspected the job to see how they looked. BINGO, they assigned the biggest dumbass to change the tires, he wasn't even properly trained to change tires, but they still let him do it. the idiot wrecked every single wheel, they were all trash, they scratched and marred all the wheels. get this, they tried to say they were already like that when they got them to change the tires, they didn't even balance them correctly. we had to fight those ******** the whole way to get the money for new ones with centercaps. we ended up making money off the deal though. oh yeah, the time before, my mom had an oil change at walmart and they forgot to put the fuggen oil cap back on. i swear there are some of the dumbest people that work at walmart. a monkey can do a better job at changing oil than them.

use the specialty wrench to remove it, then you can hand tighten it. it might be on there too tight because the last person to change the oil probably used the wrench to tighten it but actually overtightened it. and in the case of the crush washer, it doesn't not always need replacing like most people think, every couple oil changes it's recommended to change it, but if it's in decent condition, then you can reuse it a few times.
