Hi,

2003 Civic LX with 166k+ miles. Have used Mobil 1 Advanced Full Synthetic since first oil change. Oil Change interval every 5 to 6k. Does not burn a drop of oil as level has been the same since day 1

Recently if my car has not been started in a while, like 12 hours, the oil pressure light will flicker once at startup.

It usually follows the same pattern of:
1) Turn the key
2) car starts and oil light stays on for 1 second
3) oil light goes off for 1/2 second, then flashes once for a fraction of a second.


any ideas?
