oil on the spark plugs?

i pulled 2 spark plugs and both had oil on them...not on the cylender side but on the top end of the plug in the head...what does this mean?..the third i pulled and there was no oil there...im pretty sure its not suposed to be there but...if im wrong can u correct me or explain my problem?..thanks

That means the spark plug grommets are old (and probably crispy). These are the rubber seals that go in the valve cover around the spark plug holes. They usually come in valve cover gasket sets, so just pick one of those up and do them all together. Or, (worst case) your valve cover is cracked, but that should be pretty obvious.

is it a big deal?...im gunnna be pullin the civ soon for a rebuild can i leave it for a couple more weeks?

Shouldn't be a big deal, as long as you're not losing oil.
