I recently bought a 2002 Civic sedan with 220kms on it. First, air is coming through the vents when off, at whichever temp it's set to.Then I noticed the heat would drop off and turn cool randomly. After a month driving I noticed my car was overheating to the "H" idling at a red light or drive thru but as soon as I got close to 60km the temp drops fast. My coolant was empty, we over filled it. Overheating problem gone. After weeks of no issues, it started overheating. I blasted the heat to cool the engine which was working for my drive until my heat dropped off and the car started overheating even at fast speed, blowing cold air when it was set to hot. We filled it again and after 2 days it did it again tonight. Also one off my high-beam headlights is out. Not sure if all this points to something specific.

Is there water in the oil or oil in the water?.........if there is it's probably a head gasket!
