Well.... For the most part this post was going to be to ask what parts i needed to upgrade my ignition... But maybe it might not be the culprit. My 98 Civic DX likes to bog or studder.... Sort of like a misfire. And its only off idle or really low in the RPM range. High rpms i dont have any problems. City driving from stop light to stop light it will like to stumble. A couple times it has stalled completely at a stop. Every once in awhile it will hickup while stopped. It has 66k Miles on it. It has the original distributor cap/rotor and and wires. So i was planning on replacing the cap, rotor and wires with some MSD products. But i wasnt sure exactly what products. I use performancecenter.com to look up some of my stuff. So if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be great or if this might not have anything to do with it then help me out there. I just replaced the fuel filter cleaned my air cleaner and changed my plugs(about 3000mi ago)

I would go with OE or OEM replacement parts. You won't really see any noticable gain in power if you go with an MSD set up especially since you aren't running a high performance engine.

 

caps and rotors use to be done at 20 thous years ago.
i guess you do not have any codes.
dont forget the pcv valve.
i had a similar issue years ago and it was the pcv.
