Passenger window help
My passenger side window won't roll up or down.
It's 'dead' I guess?
(this is was happened)
It was rolling really slowly at first, so I took it back to the little lot where I got it, and he said he would fix it no charge. He had it for a day and I went back and picked it back up and he said the motor was bad, or something and he replaced it.
The one that he put in was also running extremely slow, then the next day it died too. So much for a 'favor' lol.
This was a few months ago, and I really want to fix it now.
What should I check? Fuses?
Suggestions please.
Thankss

The power windows in that generation of civics are notoriously problematic.
My driver's side jumped out of the track easily and for years I just didn't use the window. When I got down to fixing it it turned out that all it needed was a $32 window regulator and some care to clean and lube the weather stripping when putting it all back together. My track, weather stripping, and motor were fine. Just be sure to remove the side mirror and tuck the outside flap of the weather stripping behind it or you'll create a point where the window will want to jump out of the track.
Chances are your problem is caused by the regulator, which may have also caused the window to jump from the track, putting a higher load on the motor making it slow.
The steps to replace a regulator are widely available online. There's also a honda service bulletin on it.

The window may be slightly out of alignment and needs adjusting. But first try simply spraying some silicone lubricant into the rubber side channels where the edges of the window glides. This often fixes the problem.
